Acknowledgement to Acceptance

Hello,

I imagine you've surfed a number of counsellor profiles and websites before landing on mine. You're trying to feel connected to a complete stranger through words that might resonate or align with your emotional needs and concerns. You ask yourself...will I be safe...can I be myself...is she going to judge me...can she even help me? I get it!

So something's off then? You're not quite sure what but it's not going away and you're going around in circles. You feel unstable, hurt, afraid, worried, depressed, disconnected, insecure, invisible and/or are in some form of relationship crisis.

It started quietly but it's too loud to ignore now... it's more persistent, and you feel out of control? I understand; perhaps you need to resolve some unfinished business or are repressing some traumatic memories. It's ok, stop beating yourself up, it happens to most of us so you're not alone.

Acknowledging you are struggling is the first step to your recovery. Talking through these experiences that have led to your anxiety, low and erratic moods and unhappiness can be the difference to change.

You're not where you want to be but if you choose to work with me, we can...

  • Build a relationship of trust and safety with congruence
  • Identify the root of your experiences with empathy
  • Explore the emotions, feelings and unhealthy coping behaviours without judgement
  • Find understanding and clarity to increase your awareness
  • Introduce and develop healthy coping strategies to start your healing
  • Encourage acceptance to help you reclaim your power and move on with confidence

I will be careful with your vulnerability, respect your humanity and help you make sense of the past while you navigate the present.

No pressure, just process!
